December 10

Robbie wore his Grinch tie, and we had a wonderful evening out seeing the theatre production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Winspear Opera House in the Dallas Arts District. The Grinch's attitude and costume were perfect! We enjoyed a nice meal at Outback on the way home.

CREATIVE TIME
I didn't actually create anything on Friday, however I did spend about two hours organizing some of my digital scrapbooking elements and downloads from recent classes.

Today's Christmas Decoration Feature - Merry Christmas Sign
We have Grandma's Merry Christmas sign hanging right over the doorbell on the front porch to greet visitors. It is just a cheap plastic sign, but I remember it hanging on Grandma's door for at least 12 years or more before she passed away. I actually had to pull it apart from other items that it was packed away with because with three digit temperatures for over 30 days this past summer, some of the plastic had melted to the other items. It's not elegant or new or fancy, but it makes me smile every time I see it!

Hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend!

  1. Oh that would have been so fun! Glad you enjoyed yourself. I have Dr. Phil's book and followed it for awhile a couple of years ago. It is an excellent book. You will do well if you stick with it. I didn't. :(
