I absolutely love getting "real" mail, not bills or advertisements, but something that was sent especially for me - like the wonderful package that arrived from Rebekah last week with three bars of homemade soap (lavender soap, purple flybaby soap, carrot facial soap) AND a soap dish! Thanks Rebekah!
And now I'm ready to send out some "real" mail. The first package contains A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenberg, February's Pass the Book (the fun book chain started by Sian). Fourteen of you signed up for a chance to be the next one to enjoy this book. I consulted my Resident Random Number Generator (also known as Robbie), and the winner is . . .
Beverly who said ... Oh, this is my knid of recipe book! LOVE the idea of a clipon timer, hasn't never crossed my mind, genius ;) April 11, 2011 1:11 PM
I hope y'all enjoyed Mel's Alphanumeric Blog Hop yesterday - I had so much fun hopping around. I also have to say that I learned some things along the way (who knew 5 was a Fibonacci number!) and gained some inspiration (must try the inking technique with chipboard negatives) and am in the draw for a ton of goodies (washi tape, scrappy goodness, art cards, TimTams). A wonderful way to spend some time in blogland on a relaxing Sunday. I enjoyed visiting some of my favorite blogs as well as many new-to-me blogs. Many thanks to Mel for organizing such a fabulous hop!
Which leads to the second package I have prepared to send out - a packet of yellow scrappy goodness. The random winner of this prize is . . .
Carrie Rosalind who said ...Yellow is one of my favorite colors too, and I would love to win a yellow giveaway! Super cute post! :) April 17, 2011 1:24 PM

Today is the first day of Shimelle's new class, Beyond Blogging for Scrapbookers, and prompt one encourages us to find out what it is our readers most enjoy about our blogs. I've added a quick survey below - please take a moment to click on the things that you enjoy reading about on my blog. You can choose as many as apply. If I missed something, please be sure to let me know in the comments. I'll share the results later this week as I progress through this new class.
