10 Layouts - one was digital, one was hybrid, all were 12x12
2 cards
7 tags - I created these tags to send with the Mail Art Envelopes I made last month
The quote I made up to go around the playing card reads: Blogging is like a conversation around the table during a game of Canasta: sharing stories, commenting, building friendships, laughing, connecting.
Here on my blog I participated in the Family x12 Blog Hop coordinated by Margie, Sian's Storytelling Sunday, Shimelle's Ten on the Tenth, and began Pass the Book: Year Two. I completed my coaching duties in the Finding Photo Freedom workshop and participated in the Big Idea Festival, the Write Now! workshop, and The Mother LOAD.
September Preview
Tomorrow starts the layout a day part of The Mother LOAD workshop at BPC - we will receive a prompt every day for the next 26 days with the goal of creating a layout each day. I will also be following along with Shimelle's Learn Something New Every Day class. (Last year I created a mini-album for LSNED, however this year I'm just planning to read the prompts each day as additional inspiration for my daily layout.)
I need to create a couple of cards for September and October and will be starting the Double Take workshop on the 22nd. If in the midst of all this fun (along with tutoring once a week and leading two session of Ladies' Bible Study) I have any extra time, I'm hoping to work some more on Robbie's Graduation Mini-Album.
Anyone else starting LOAD tomorrow? What else do you have planned for September?
You are such a busy woman! Wow. I'll be really interested to hear how LOAD is going. I passed on that class - I knew it would be too much for me. Good luck with it, can't wait to see what you create!
ReplyDeleteAnd a very insightful quote it is! Your tag is propped up on my bedside table at the minute so I see it every day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very successful month's scrapbooking. I'm going to keep an eye on LSNED. Joining in last year was a last minute thing - it'll probably be the same this year
You've done so much this month,Melissa....busy indeed.
ReplyDeleteI'll follow the LSND prompts....but whether I actually create anything is another matter!!!
Another busy month Melissa...I'm signed up for LSND, but not sure what I'm going to have time to do with it!
ReplyDeleteAlison xx
I'm doing LOAD... which means LSNED is probably going to consist of a little blurb on my blog if anything. I sure as heck am not committing to TWO layouts a day!!! I'm so NOT READY for LOAD. I didn't do any of the homework for the first 9 weeks!
ReplyDeleteGoodness you've been wonderfully creative. I'll be interested in seeing you LSND, as I'm not doing this class but am interested to see what you do
ReplyDeleteLOAD is something I should do, but it's not happening. There's just too much else going on. I do have an idea for LSNED, and I'm hoping it will work with the prompts. I'm going to follow through with it regardless.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder to update my tag book for July and August.
I love that top card so much. Would be fun to embroider...
