LOAD Day 5

Today's layout once again incorporates LOAD and LSNED, although I didn't follow either of today's prompts. Several months ago, I shared the story of my hospital stay when I was 11-years-old and a recent incident that reminded me of the lesson I learned at that time. I even pulled out several pieces of memorabilia from those days. I used the journaling from that blog post and the memorabilia to create today's layout.

I also mentioned in that post that there was another story about that same hospital stay, so I thought today would be the perfect time to share it with you. This story is documented in my School Years album (which I created last year after rescuing my photos & memorabilia from an old acidic scrapbook).

Here's a closer look at the journaling that tells the story.

A few days ago, I discovered Nadine's 30 Days of Creativity Challenge from a post on Ginger's blog. Nadine explains the details of her challenge in this post. She's offering weekly prizes, and since I'm already scrapping each day this month (hopefully!), I've decided to join in over there, too. In fact, she featured one of my layouts in her post here.

Is it just me or are y'all also finding September full of inspiration & creativity?

This whole weekend has been great for creating! Lots of fun to see what everyone is up to. Nadine was smart to have her challenge this month with everyone already doing monthly challenges it's the perfect opportunity to win something!
