LOAD Day One

It's finally here - the layout a day portion of The Mother LOAD workshop! I actually combined the Day 1 LOAD prompt (scrapbook a goal or an aspiration) with this week's Library of Memories Community challenge (create a layout about you - something other people say when they pay you a compliment).

Journaling reads: If you asked someone to describe me, they would probably say, "she has long blond hair and she's very organized." I stay organized daily, weekly, & monthly by making lists and setting goals.

This is actually an interactive layout because I've listed four goals that I want to concentrate on this month. I will display it on my desk and check off my progress at the end of each day. So, the layout will actually be completed on the 30th of this month and I'll have a record of how well (or not) I did on my focus goals for this month.

BTW - I am so excited the LOM Community is up and running today (it was basically inactive during the Finding Photo Freedom workshop). The weekly challenges started again today and the message board has already been active this morning. If you signed up last year, you don't have to register again - just log in to your BPC account to access the class. If you didn't join up last year or have just completed the Finding Photo Freedom workshop, click here to hurry over and get registered so you don't miss any of the LOM Community support!

  1. love the goals list and the grid for checking off what you've done! Think I may lift this idea for my layout for tomorrow... since today was totally off the grid with what I scrapped!

  3. Like your goals and the space for ticking them off - very motivating! and hard to ignore, visually, if one does't do it.

  4. What a fabulous idea! I set goals every month too, and I sometimes do a checklist in excell, but your LO is a much prettier way to track progress!
