Christmas 2007

I recently cleaned out/organized the remaining photos in my 2007 storage binder and pulled the photos from Christmas Day for a layout using one of the Double Take week 2 sketches. I also checked my memorabilia folder and pulled out the extra Christmas card front I had saved from the cards we sent out that year. It was such a cute card, I knew I wanted to use it on a layout. (It's in the bottom left corner.)

I cut the Christmas light embellishments out of leftover wrapping paper that I had saved from that year. Robbie and I enjoy picking out a new wrapping paper each year for our gifts to each other, so I typically put a few pieces in my memorabilia file to use on the Christmas Day layout.

Often on Christmas Day, it's just the two of us and I love how this layout reflects the fun (& food) that we share. I'd already scrapped our 2007 Kick Off Christmas Brunch (the get-together with my family), our decorations that year, and the photos of "the haul" (gifts we received), so I've added the extra 2007 Christmas photos to my category drawers for future use on connections layouts. I'll add this layout to our Days We Celebrate album.
