The Pretty Paper Party Starts Today

The ever creative Shimelle has a new class starting today - a four week party celebrating pretty paper! Our first challenge for the Pretty Paper Party is to take a photo of our paper. So, to get the party going, here's a look at my paper stash.

By some standards, mine is a small stash and by others it would be considered a rather large supply of paper. I have most of my 12x12 cardstock & patterned papers sorted by color & placed in drawers on the shelves right beside my craft table. I have two accordian files - one holds new specialty papers and the other holds themed papers. I keep my 8 1/2 x 11 papers in a file drawer sorted by color & my scraps are sorted by color in a bin right under my craft table. This system works well for me, and I am looking forward to using some of these pretty papers over the next four weeks as I receive Shimelle's daily prompts and inspiration.

It's not too late to join the party - anyone else want to celebrate Pretty Paper? (Click here for details on the class.)

  1. I keep my scraps as well....but only sort into plain and patterned.

  2. I haven't signed up for this one - just not enough hours in the day at the minute. But I'm going to be looking out for these photos. They are fun!

  3. Nice collection and so well organized! I think this is going to be a fun class, glad to see you there, too!

  4. Wondering how you decide where your patterned papers go - with cardstock or the specialty patterned paper? What are you storing your scraps in - is it plastic bags?

  5. Lots of papers to get through there then!!!

  6. I keep all my scraps too - but my space doesn't look as organised as yours!!

Thanks so much for your comment - it's like a ray of sunshine in my day!
