May Pass the Book - Lifted

Michelle Meisenbach's book Lifted is all about one of my favorite scrapbooking topics - scraplifting. Yes, an entire book on the art of scraplifting a layout and making it all your own.

The book is divided into sections that discuss and show examples of lifting the entire layout or just one or two parts of the layout - image placement, format, title, embellishments and color scheme. The layouts are in groups of three - the original plus two lifts from that original.

Click here to read all about how Pass the Book:Year Two works. To be in the draw for this month's book, leave a comment telling me who/what you've scraplifted most recently. I'll announce the winner on Monday so this book can be on its way to inspiring more scraplifting.

If you currently have a book or have recently passed one on, would you please take a moment to check the Pass the Book:Year Two page and be sure it has been updated. (Scroll down to the bottom to see the book list.) Please send me a quick email if you see anything that needs updating!

Also, I just have to say THANK YOU to those of you who jumped over to comment on our BPC Meet-Up photo on the Scrappin' Goodtime Facebook page! Click here for all the details if you missed my request to help us win a half-priced retreat.

  4. Sounds a great book - I've been doing a lot of scraplifting recently - I decided I wanted to try some different styles so last week I noted down several LO I liked that were is very different style to my norm and I've been playing with first doing an exact placement copy and then moving things around - all so easy to do in digi
