Christmas Layouts

It's almost time for Cate's 100 Days to Christmas blog series to begin, which has me thinking about Christmas and a couple of layouts I created a while back that I haven't shared yet. So, here's a little taste of Christmas scrapping as summertime winds down.

This first layout showcases the first two photos we snapped with our new camera this past December.

Journaling reads: What's the first thing we do when we get a new camera? Snap a photo of each other, of course!

I've had the idea and title for this next layout in mind since I took the photos back in 2008.

Journaling reads: After we set up for the 2008 Kick Off Christmas Brunch, Robbie & Daddy sat down and me & Mama sat down at the other end - 16 feet away! I laughed & said we were like those rich people in the movies who eat at opposites ends of the table.

Honestly, I haven't really thought much about Christmas yet this year, but I guess I need to decide if I'm going to make any gifts or cards so I can get started. If you're looking for more Christmas inspiration, Jacky has started making Christmas cards - clean & simple ones and layered ones.

  1. time to get started! I started on Christmas gifts this past week. I'd tell you what they are but, well, that would spoil the surprise!

  2. I just cannot think about Christmas until after Halloween. I guess I should start thinking about what I want to make so I can jump to it when the Christmas spirit strikes.

  4. I love to scrapbook out of season! :) It's fun to see some Christmas layouts while it's still hot and steamy outside. Love the fun die cut shape on the second layout. Love how the kraft looks on the pattern paper. :) I really should get a head start on my holiday cards. It's never to early to get going on them.

  5. I admire your enthusiasm for Christmas - and your pages are very festive. I'll be keeping a low profile on the whole thing till the 15 December.

  7. 100 days till Christmas countdown starting soon?! Nooooo!!! I'm nowhere near ready to think about Christmas yet! I do try to make my cards each year, but I rarely start before November and sometimes not till December...

  8. Apparently, we didn't have Christmas last year because I didn't take any photos. Can't imagine how that happened. I am just getting my supplies ready to make cards.
