I put my digital scrapbooking skills to the test recently to create baseball themed baby shower invitations. A friend sent me a link to this blog post, and I immediately thought, "I can make those invitations in Photoshop Elements." I used some digital papers from my stash and we printed these ticket-sized invitations on white cardstock. I'm extremely pleased with how they turned out.
I've created other invitations over the past several years using printed Word documents or paper scrapping, however this is the first time I've used digital scrapbooking . . . but it definitely won't be the last! Have you created any unique invitations lately?
Great invitation! No, I haven't created any invitations but I do a lot of digital cards.
ReplyDeleteYes! I did digi invites for Rachel and Becca's graduation party - printed on photo paper. It's so easy to do something unique and fun digitally.
ReplyDeleteWow, they look great! :)
ReplyDeleteI usually design The Boy's party invitations digitally so we can just print off as many as we need quickly and easily, whereas The Tomboy likes craft so helps to make hers, so they tend to be paper based!
What a unique invitation - well done Melissa.
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable, great job, Melissa! I got PS9 2 years Christmases ago and have barely touched it. I really need a teacher that doesn't get all technical on me.
ReplyDeleteThese are really clever! It's quite a while since I've made invitations - we used to use a clipart CD to make them for children's parties, but that's going back a bit now..
ReplyDeleteHow unique and fun!! Thanks for stopping by my blog again...it's nice to be back in the loop again. :)
