I'm sharing another layout inspired by the BPC Double Take sketches today. This sketch only called for four photos, a lot less than I normally use on a two-page spread, however I like the way it turned out and the happy blue of these papers.
There were several other photos I wanted to use from this day in Knoxville, so I decided to add a 6x12 page. These two pages will go back to back in a 6x12 page protector, in between the 12x12s in my album.
I have, yes. I love a mix of sizes in my albums - it gives a real traditional scrapbook feel.

Yes, I have! And 8.5 x 11's too! I love the mix of sizes. I also have a couple of albums that are all 6x12 pages. It is a fun size to work with.

Great double page! I would also normally use more than 4 photos, but this works great. Have not used a 6x12 yet. Still trying to use all those divided page protectors!

ReplyDeleteI've always admired the mixed sizes in albums. I've taken on an 8.5x11 album this year for my monthly series and that's definitely out of the box for me!

Knoxville is one of the places I want to visit - I have friends near there. Yes, I like putting different sizes together and am using 6x12 as the 'photo/title' page for each month in our PL album. I like the smaller photos slotted together in a pocket - lots of glimpses of interesting things.
