Sunday Musings - Is My Angel Yawning?

After hearing a sermon on angels and a reminder that there are angels sent to protect us, I've been pondering this question lately.

Is my angel yawning?


I'm wondering if I've become so comfortable and complacent in my life that I don't have a need for protection from the enemy. Maybe I'm not a threat at all, despite the fact that I want to be one of those Christians (like this quote I don't know the source of says) that when my feet hit the ground in the morning, Satan says, "Oh no, she's awake."

For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
Psalm 91:11-12

    I believe in angels. I wish mine would give me a little nudge once in awhile when I get too close to the food table!!

    Melissa, I believe when we get too comfortable and too complacent we become fertile ground for Satan. That's why I also believe when you fall into that mindset God tends to throw challenges and opportunities our way. Be prayerful and listen to Him, something will grab your attention ;)
