Layering & Clustering

Two layouts to share with you today where I had fun just layering papers and clustering embellishments.

What techniques are you having fun with lately?

  1. I am experimenting with minimal and portable :). Those greens and yellows are so fresh with the photos.

  2. I think I'll always be a layer-er and cluster-er! I've gone back to more handcutting too, something I used to do a lot.

I love those fresh greens and yellows too

  3. As you may guess....I love all the layering....however much I try minimal.....I always go back to the 'more is better'.

  4. I've been playing around with design techniques - inspired by Cathy. Town Monkey decided to scrap like me so did clean, graphic, with inked edges and clusters - definitely have old favourites too!

  5. My favorite is the green and yellow "Someday" layout. With the grey, it's perfect for your highway photos.

Currently, I am playing with the tons of spray mists and masks I have. I have a class coming up this week, so decided to teach some techniques using them. Plus, that forced me to use them too! I often rely on classes to force me to learn something new so I can pass it on.

  6. Lovely pages! Great colors. I like to layer and cluster, but have to stay focused and not go overboard. Your examples are perfect.

  7. I love the layers and the clusters, but am not very good at either. But they say practice makes perfect! Love both of these layouts! I have to chuckle at the photo in the first one.

  9. I like both color combinations and that picture of Robbie is priceless - what an expression! Right now I'm enjoying working through stash using sketches and also finishing up some class kit pages. It's nice to have somebody else doing the design work so I can just enjoy putting things together.
