Oh So Cute Magazine Inspiration

An oh so cute layout today inspired by one that I saw in Scrapbook Magazine Issue 71 - several strips of paper to make a background for the photo & title, then a couple of embellishments clusters.


I don't often pick up a scrapbooking print magazine anymore, simply because there are only a few places nearby that carry them and there's so much online inspiration that I don't keep up with reading them when I have a subscription. However, I always enjoy flipping through a real magazine (and occasionally scraplifting a cute layout!). Do you buy or subscribe to any scrapbooking print magazines.

    I'm a magazine junkie, and as nice as online inspiration goes, I much prefer to have a physical copy to flick through.

    Cute layout!

    I'm about to let my subscription to Scrapbooking Memories go, it's been a wonderful 7 years, but I haven't read it at all this year (I've also hardly scrapped), I find too munch inspiration floating around Pinterest and blogs.

    That background paper is so very pretty ... I occasionally buy a magazine or read the online Jot, though I have never recovered from the demise of the Simple Scrapbooking magazine ...

    I like the layering under your photo here.

    I'm with Alexa Simple Scrapbooks would probably be on that list but otherwise it is digital mags and inspiration for me.

    Love this layout! My last magazine I was getting in print was Creating Keepsakes. So sad, I love to hold the magazine & look at it. But this is the way it is now, all digital!

    I do love your layout Melissa but I'm like you, I don't subscribe to any scrapbooking magazines anymore because there's so much online. I DO like to checkout Northridge Publishing monthly though to see what new e-books they have on various crafts -- cardmaking, mini albums, etc.

    I'm not sure there is anything left in the states to subscribe to. I used to get Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Scrapbooks Etc., and Simple Scrapbooks... not a single one of them is still in print. I miss Simple Scrapbooks the most. I've asked for a few of the Stampington magazines on my Christmas wish list.

    Cute, indeed! I don't subscribe anymore, I wasn't reading the ones I got as fast as they came. I'm that way with other magazines as well. I think I'll swear off new subscriptions for 2014 and just go back and dig through the old issues. Sometimes I am more likely to scraplift from a paper magazine than an online one.

    Very cute layout! The only magazine I get anymore is Scrapbook & Cards Today. Love that magazine!
