Very Simple Layouts

Today I'm sharing three very simple layouts. This first page showcases the one cantaloupe we found growing wild in our neglected raised garden bed back in 2010. The layout went together quickly with a couple of photos, a few letters stickers, and a line of journaling along the side of the 8x8 page.

I was sorting through some of my project files and ran across a group of love-themed papers, so I pulled a couple of photos from this past Valentine's Day and had this layout together in less than 30 minutes.

This last one was inspired by a challenge in the (no-longer-available) free self-paced Cocoa, Daisies, and Stacy class at BPC.

Speaking of self-paced classes, BPC recently retired some of their self-paced classes, so they are no longer available. However, if the class was already in your account, you continue to have forever access to the contents. I had added several free classes (including the Cocoa, Daisies & Stacy class) to my account a couple of years ago, so I still have those in my account.

There are currently three free classes available and I encourage y'all to go ahead and add these to your BPC account now (while it's on your mind). You can always access the materials when you're ready. The three classes are:
1. Start Here, With Stacy - I've mentioned this class several times here on my blog and created quite a few layouts based on the prompts provided in this class.
2. Finish Line Scrapbooking - This is a class Stacy has taught and mentioned several times, but I think it's a new addition to the free classes. I just added it to my account today.
3. Scrapbooking With a Digital Template - There are three digital page templates, four digital papers and four digital embellishments included with this class.

Did you already have these three classes in your BPC account? Are you on your way over there to add them now?

  1. I like your simple layouts - you got three stories told quickly - yay!! I think after the holidays I will concentrate on getting a bunch of quickie layouts done. I will probably use some of the tips in Stacy's Finish Line Scrapbooking class. I have referred to it once, and it's about time for a revisit. Now I'm off to find the one on the digi templates. Great post, thanks.

  6. I took a Finish LIne class with Stacy herself at a CK convention years ago. I have quite a collection of self-paced classes in my library at BPC that I haven't worked through yet, but I'm off to check out the digital one. I laughed when I saw some of the love papers; one of them is still in my stash too. Another nice set of layouts.

  9. I have the first two classes in my library at BPC - and I'm pretty sure that at this point I don't need the last one! ;) Great quick and easy layouts!

  12. Simple or not, that's three more stories down and preserved! I probably have all of these classes. I really should go back through my classes more often and revisit the materials. :)

  13. Three more stories recorded :) I like simple pages that do that job.

I too did Finish Line with Stacy a few years ago. Thought of y'all when I went past a thrift store here with lots of toys in the window :)
