Valentine's Surprise & Happy Mail

Since I shared with y'all my little Valentine's gift for Robbie, I thought it only fair to show y'all the surprise he had for me - a beautiful card and eleven (yes, 11!) rolls of washi tape. I'll definitely be having FUN with these new additions to my stash.

Back in December, Cheri had a fantastic giveaway on her blog - a mixed media canvas designed especially for the winner! I had completely forgotten that I was the winner until I opened my mailbox a few days ago and was surprised with this fabulous piece of art.

As promised, Cheri designed something that is uniquely special for me! And it will make me smile every time I see it hanging in my craft room.

This week I've been thinking about and scrapping photos of my Grandma and the quote on this piece also reminded me of her. Grandma used to call me her ray of sunshine, so I was thrilled with the quote Cheri included.

Thank you Cheri for this beautiful piece of art!

It's so much fun to get "real" mail these days, so I was delighted to also receive two cards in the mail this week, one from my dear friend Rita and one from Karen showing me how she's already using that Simon Says die!

Did you have any surprises or happy mail this week?

  1. I think it is SO COOL that Robbie takes an actual interest in your scrapping enough to know that you like washi tape and to be able to pick some out for you. My hubbie wouldn't have a clue where to start. Glad you liked the canvas. I forgot to take photos before I mailed it, so maybe you could send me those two you posted??? :)
