Where Does My Inspiration Come From? (14)

This post is the fourteenth (and final) in a two-week series of daily posts where I'm sharing my recently created layouts along with the inspiration that prompted me to create them. I tend to think that I always start with a photo when I scrapbook, however as I looked back through a recent batch of layouts, I realized that the inspiration to sit down at my craft table and create a layout comes from many different sources.

Title - Senior Prom
Layout Inspiration - Photos
Design Inspiration - Product Kit

I chose the photos for today's layout to go with the Bo Bunny kit I used for my Easter 1972 and Me & Grandma layouts I shared last week. These photos were in the storage binder that holds photos of me during my growing up years and show a progression as I prepared for the senior prom. I really like the way these photos look with the products and am happy to have this layout in my Early Years album.

Do you have any childhood or teenage photos that you're planning to scrap?

Thank you for joining me and adding your comments as I've shared where my inspiration comes from these past two weeks. I'll be back tomorrow with a round-up post with my thoughts and observations on where my inspiration comes from. You can click here to see all Where Does My Inspiration Come From? posts.

  2. These photos are fantastic Melissa! How very lucky you are to have them! I don't have many photos at all growing up, and so I've scrapped most of them already. Excellent job on your layout! I love it!

  5. You're so lucky to have all these wonderful photos of getting ready for the prom. I might have one photo once I was dressed up, but no one thought to take photos of the preparation.
