3 Scavenger Hunt Finds

I've gotten a slow start on posting photos for Rinda's Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt this year, however I did find a few items on the list during the month of June. I've copied Rinda's list of 21 items & 2 alternates here today & am adding photos for the ones I've found so far.

1. A sign welcoming people to your home town - I'm pretty sure that there's not an actual welcome sign as you enter our town, so instead I snapped a photo of the sign outside our visitor's center.

2. A garden gnome
3. Birds on a wire
4. A group of tourists
5. A rack of post cards
6. An urban street scene
7. A rural landscape

8. A tattoo on a person
- Robbie and I attended a BBQ Cooking Class and one of the "experts" on grilling brisket had both arms covered in tattoos.

9. A bakery
10. A photo bomb

11. A horn
- before Robbie and I set out to do some errands one Saturday, I read the scavenger hunt list to him so we could both be on the lookout. As we were walking through Hobby Lobby, he suddenly stopped and said, "Here's a horn!"

12. A mascot
13. A sunrise
14. A parade
15. A juggler
16. A sign in a language other than English
17. A lamp post
(click here to see the find I posted a few weeks ago)
18. A water fall
19. A public garden
20. A bus with a picture painted on its sides
21. A photograph of you with something representing the season
Alternative A: A kite, hot air balloon or blimp
Alternative B: A bird house

There's still plenty of time to join in the hunt - click here for all the details and here to see finds from bloggers around the world.

  3. Well spotted, Robbie - that's a great one! The pretty flowerbeds and greenery certainly spell 'Welcome' even if it doesn't actually say that :).
