July FUN Check-In & August Plans

July was an extremely busy and FUN month with lots of travel. I spent the first two days of the month in Corsicana teaching FUN card classes at Scrappin' Goodtime. We had a quiet Fourth of July here at home, then went out to visit Mama & Daddy the next day and played a new-to-me FUN game, Sharpshooters. Then we had our unexpected trip to Ohio and our FUN vacation to Banff. Robbie and I played Canasta in Banff and he is still the reigning Canadian Canasta Champion! We saw the (fantastic!) Dawn of the Planet of the Apes movie and watched a few other movies here at home. I had lunch with my dear friend Becky, who was home from the mission field in Kenya, and also met up with Ginger while we were in Canada. I did not have much crafty time in July, but I was able to find quite a few items on Rinda's Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt list.

My FUN plans for August include:
1. Seeing a movie or two with Robbie.
2. Celebrating a couple of birthdays at Crafty Tuesday.

3. Catching up in the online classes I'm taking - One Little Word & Inspired Scrapbooking.

4. Continuing the hunt for items on Rinda's Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt list.

5. Scrapbooking more layouts for our 10th Anniversary Cruise album.

I'm also planning to blog quite a bit this month, each week will be sort of a mini-series of posts about a particular topic. I'll be starting tomorrow with posts this week devoted to my 50 Things To Do Before I'm 50 list. The following weeks will be devoted to book reviews, cleaning/organizing/decluttering/redecorating accomplishments and tips, and then back to crafty stuff to round out the month.
