However, this is my year of FUN, so I'm sharing one of the songs that Robbie and I enjoy simply because it's . . . FUN!
Personally, my preference is for a GREEN Christmas, and I wouldn't mind if the temperature never dipped below 60 degrees. Robbie, on the other hand, grew up enjoying WHITE Christmases and is open to having the ground covered in snow! How about you - would you like to see Snow Miser or Heat Miser in charge of the weather at Christmastime?
Ha! I hadn't heard this one before.
ReplyDeleteI do love to look out at the snow at Christmas, but if it gets too deep then we can't travel to see family and that has disappointed us a couple of times in the past
It just doesn't feel like Christmas if there is not snow on the ground. It just makes everything look so fresh and clean. If we don't have snow then everything is just gray not green.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!
if I never see snow again it will be fine with me!
ReplyDeleteIf I could control the weather, we'd have snow from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day. And then it would disappear and the temps would be back in the 60's and Spring would come. Unfortunately, I'm looking at four months of cold and snow and miserable grey weather ahead. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love the snow when all the family has arrived safely
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge fan of snow and we certainly get more than our share some years, but I'm always happy to see an inch or two at Christmas. Enough to be festive, but not enough to cause travel difficulties.
ReplyDeleteI think we've had snow twice in my 56 Christmases so I am certainly not expecting it. We grew up being able to ride new bikes, break in roller skates, play ball, etc . I will say I like for it to be cold. Those years we are warm it just seems a bit off.
ReplyDeleteI like Cheri's idea of snow over the twelve days and that being about it. I'm quite happy at the moment with a green Christmas - we don't tend to get snow until January usually.
