Blog Every Day In May - Sunday Musings Quote
This beautiful spiral-bound journal is my Quotes Journal, which I've had for many years. In it I record quotes of various kinds. Some of the quotes provide INSPIRATION, some make me laugh, and others, like the one below, make me contemplate my life and actions each day.
This quote is the first one recorded in my journal. Unfortunately when I began this journal, I did not record where I first encountered the quote or who is was attributed to. However, this quote has come to mind many times over the years. I've even quoted it at various times when I was speaking at an event or teaching a Bible study. And I often wonder if the gospel according to me is pleasing to the Lord.
Over the past couple of years, I've thought about creating art journal pages or canvases with some of my favorite quotes. I think it would be a great way to re-visit the quotes in this journal. Here's a look at a few other pages.
Do you collect quotes? If so, where do you record them?

ReplyDeleteI think that is a powerful quote that everyone should know. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who gathers quotes in books.
ReplyDeleteI do have a quote journal as well as two documents on my computer that I use to copy and paste when I find something online.
ReplyDeleteI have been talking about doing a quote journal or album for ages, I just need to get started. I have quotes that feed into the sidebar of my blog, and while I am often struck by them, I don't always record them.
ReplyDeleteI need a proper notebook just for quotes. At the minute I scribble them down in between plans for blog posts in my blogging notebook
