Monday's Mail Memo - Snipped Tales & Fresh Grounded Faith

Last month, Ruth of Everyday Life of a Suburban SAHM had a wonderful giveaway, and I was the lucky winner! This lovely package arrived in the mail last week.

When Ruth ordered her own copy of Julie's new book, Snipped Tales, she'd ordered an extra to give away. Ruth added a lovely postcard and note to the top of the wrapped book before sending it on to me. I'm looking forward to dipping in and out of this book for INSPIRATION and will definitely have FUN using all the bits & pieces Julie so wonderfully included with it!

Thanks Ruth for hosting such a great giveaway and shipping this fantastic package all the way across the pond to me!!

In other news, this weekend I attended the Fresh Grounded Faith event with my friend Dawn (and we ran into our friend Amy at the event). We had a wonderful time listening to Jennifer Rothschild share about how we are unshakable women of the Lord. Karen Abercrombie, the actress that played Miss Clara in the War Room movie, was fantastic with her dramatic storytelling of the story of the Shunnamite woman and the story of Rahab. Michael O'Brien led inspiring worship and was quite the comedian as he shared his original songs and stories. Lysa TerKeurst spoke on keeping our desires in line with God's desires. During the roundtable discussion, they each shared their most embarrassing moment and we enjoyed lots of laughs. It was a great event!

Waving to all the Mondayers joining in with Sian this year as we share memos and a favorite piece of mail from the previous week.
