April was a busy month around here, so I thought I'd recap a little today. The weekend after the Illustrated Faith retreat we celebrated Easter Sunday with Mama & Daddy. We went to the morning service at their church to hear Daddy sing in the cantata, then enjoyed a yummy Easter dinner that Mama prepared.

The next weekend, Robbie traveled with me to The Woodlands, about four hours away, and I taught an illustrated Bible journaling mini-retreat at The Woodlands Bible Church. We had 21 ladies in attendance, ranging in age from 13 to 86! It was a fabulous day.

This past weekend, I headed out to Scrappin' Goodtime in Corsicana and spent the day Saturday teaching a couple of illustrated Bible journaling workshops on the Book of Ruth. It was a FUN day with 17 ladies participating, many of whom have attended my workshops in the past plus several brand new Bible journalers.

It was a busy and very ACTIVE month that seemed to fly by. I'm welcoming in May this week by spending the majority of my time working to complete the custom scrapbook-for-hire project I have in progress. What will you be up to this month?

Waving hello to all the Mondayers joining in with Sian this year as we share memos and mail on Monday!

  2. What a busy teaching schedule you had! Looks like it was wonderfully successful. We're traveling again this month. We'll be away for a week early in May, and a long weekend away at the end. I'm doing a lot more volunteer work, too, so trying to keep up with projects will fill the month easily.
