I spent the majority of last week working on the custom scrapbook-for-hire project that is almost complete, then celebrating interNational Scrapbook Day on Saturday.
There were a few pieces of incoming Happy Mail during the week: (1) a high school graduation announcement for a friend's daughter, (2) a card from my friend Darlene with a copy of the devotional from April 30, which is all about journaling in Bibles, and (3) a wonderful handwritten note tucked inside a package of trading cards Robbie purchased on eBay.
Here's a closer look at the note.
I was busy yesterday preparing outgoing Happy Mail: a couple of graduation cards & gifts, cards saying hello to two sweet friends, and a sympathy card for the family of a dear sweet missionary who passed away in India last week at 87-years-old. (All of the cards came from my pre-made stash)
Waving hello to
all the Mondayers joining in with Sian this year as we share memos and mail on Monday!
It's a good thing to have made your cards ahead of the "need" ... you certainly do send & receive a lot of happy mail. That one package certainly has some interesting stamps on it. Happy week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI didn't celebrate with scrapbooking, but I did buy two new digi-kits! Now I need to get PSE installed on my computer again... (long story)
ReplyDeleteYour time spent in preparing thoughtful mail to send will be much appreciated :) I noticed the interesting stamps.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good week ahead
I love having special stamps. I keep a set for birthdays and another set for anniversaries. I gave a set of those truck stamps to my son thinking they'd be great on his business mail.
ReplyDeleteLove the look of your outgoing mail! Xx
ReplyDeleteMy goodness you have been busy! I am sure the recipients of your happy mail are going to be very pleased ...
ReplyDeleteBesides all the fun mail, I love all of those stamps!
