I decided to use a divided page protector for these items and used Photoshop Elements to create a 4x6 journaling card for the first slot.
I used both sides of the divided page protector for miscellaneous photos and memorabilia. Here's a look at the front side with the journal card.
I've decided to continue this idea for each month this year - once I've created layouts for the main stories and photos each month, I'll use a divided page protector and journaling card for the extra bits & pieces. I've already scrapped February layouts (which I'll share in another post soon), so I created another Bits & Pieces journaling card.
How do you include miscellaneous bits & pieces in your scrapbooks?
Nice layouts to include your bits & pieces. I use to save in Becky Higgins Project Life plastic envelopes but too bulky, so now I take photos of the "stuff" & just slide into the pockets, then I get rid of the "stuff". I am trying so hard to be clutter reduced.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! Don't think I'd be disciplined enough to get it done, so kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Nine times out of ten, I let the bits and pieces go. In order to keep up I have a "new" philosophy---photos and stories--don't worry about embellishments or memorabilia. If it's easy to incorporate, I do, but otherwise I move right on.
