In the last five days, I've had several pieces of exciting news!
First, I won one of the big prizes that Jo coordinated during the Celebrating Blog Friendships Blog Hop Party! I received a three month subscription to the Masterful Scrapbook Design seminars by Debbie Hodge. I logged in to the course materials today and WOW - there's a ton of inspiration waiting for me!
Secondly, I have been chosen as a Guest Designer for two of the upcoming Sketches in Thyme sketch challenges. I'll be guest designing once in December and then again in February.
And lastly, I've mentioned before that I'm planning to take the Wellness Journey workshop at BPC that starts at the end of the year (December 30) and runs for eight weeks. I received an email from BPC that as a Wellness Journey alum (I took this past year's workshop), I can purchase the course for half off the regular class fee. YIPPEE!
All of this good news basically came about because of my decision to start blogging earlier this year and reinforces the theme of Blog Friendships and the connections I've made with other bloggers and scrapbookers. I "met" Jo and Lizzie as they were organizing the blog hop, which led to me winning a fabulous prize. I discovered the Sketches in Thyme site through Sue's blog, which led to me being chosen as a guest designer. And I was waiting to sign up for the Wellness Journey workshop because Cheri mentioned that there might be a discount for the alum.
In addition to all this exciting news, Robbie and I were browsing at a local flea market last weekend and I found a steal of a deal on a bag of 32 wooden stamps (mostly from Stampin' Up!). Sorting through them when I returned home, I discovered several of them were duplicates of stamps that I already owned. So, to celebrate all my exciting news this week, I am giving away the nine stamps shown below to one lucky blog reader.
To be eligible for the giveaway, just leave a comment by noon (CST) on Thursday the 18th and I'll draw a random winner. Don't forget to check back to see if you've won the prize!
BTW - if you're Deb, please check this post - if I don't hear from you by noon on Thursday, I will have to pick a new winner of the prize pack of goodies.
