We slept in then had a nice relaxing day at home. Robbie grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and we watched the Cleveland Browns & the Dallas Cowboys win their games. Nichole came out for the day; she wrapped her Christmas gifts and put them under the tree, took an online Economics test, and wrote a paper for her Political Science class.
CREATIVE TIME
I had saved these miniature candy boxes from last year, and I turned them into ornaments for the toy tree by adding a brad in the top to hold a ribbon hangar.
Today's Christmas Decoration Feature - The Other Nativities
Yesterday I featured our main nativity scene, however we have a few other nativities scattered throughout the house. I keep a small plastic one on the top of my desk, right above my computer monitor.
Our guest bathroom is decorated in yellow ducks, and this cute nativity scene is displayed on the counter.
I have a small ceramic nativity scene on my vanity table.
And this tiny nativity is displayed on the next to the bottom shelf of the front room bookshelves. I purchased it a few years ago because it had the little story book with it. I like to read the story to my nieces and nephews when we get together for Christmas.
We also have several ornaments that feature the nativity scene. This orange paper flower is one of my favorites.
I hope your week is off to a great start and that in the midst of the busyness of Monday, you'll take a moment to remember the true Reason for the Season.
Gorgeous nativities Melissa.
