Purse Layout

Created a fun layout today based on the Sketches in Thyme Thursday Takes #27 sketch.

I used three photos instead of one 5x7 and included a Creative Imaginations journal spot to record this story from my niece's visit in 2009.

Journaling reads: Pun’kin and I had just been seated at Maggianos when Robbie called to say his car wouldn’t start and he was having it towed to the repair shop. We picked him up at his office and decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory which was closer to home for supper. As we were getting out of the car, Pun’kin realized she had left her purse (with her brand new glasses inside) on the booth seat at Maggianos. (She had just recently begun carrying a purse.) I called and was informed that our waiter had stowed her purse at the greeter’s booth and they had it waiting for us. We were starved by the time we arrived back at Maggianos and relieved to get the purse and glasses back. We had a different waiter, but after the meal, Pun’kin located the waiter who had found her purse and offered him a tip from her very own spending money to thank him. He graciously refused her money, but I was so proud of her for being willing to reward someone for a kind and honest act.

  4. Love the colors on your layout and that you used several photos instead of the one 5x7. I still have a hard time putting just one photo on a layout.
