I had previously used Sketch #3 on my Curb Your Enthusiasm layout, but it worked perfectly for this photo of the twins during their visit here last summer.
Sketch #7 was for an 8 1/2 x11 layout, which worked well with this single photo from 1981. I included my membership card and the gold star pin which I had saved in my Memorabilia File. (That's me in the red shirt!)
I used the last sketch (#28) for these photos from December of 1993 when I was volunteering as Youth Director at my church. We built a stable on a lowboy trailer for two Christmas parades that year - and won an award in one of the parades!
I'm excited to get some of my older photos and stories as well as some newer ones scrapped with these sketches. Have you scrapped any older photos lately?
yay for old photos! I love getting some of the old stories told!
ReplyDeleteGreat LOs Melissa...have been scrapping older pics for my niece's album, and have also done a few about Stuart

Wonderful layouts. It's been awhile since I scrapped anything older then a few years. I need to go through my boxes (they are still not organized) and see what inspires me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some great sketches! I love your bright color choices, such happy pages!
ReplyDeleteExcellent job! I love sketches, they really take a lot of the pressure off of the creative process. Love also to get older photos scrapped, so kudos to you for doing that. Yeah!
