Did you make it to the movies this summer? Do you watch for them to come out on Blu-ray so you can enjoy them again?

Summertime Movies
We saw quite a few movies the past few months, all of which will be coming out (or have already) on Blu-ray soon. Robbie keeps track of the movies we really enjoy and want to own so we are sure to get them on pre-order for the best prices. There were several movies out that we didn't get to see, however here's a look at a few of the movies that we saw and will definitely be adding to our collection.

I've not been to the cinema lately but plan to do so in the winter
ReplyDeleteLoved DM2! We also adored Monsters University (saw it twice this summer). A few other movies we saw that we enjoyed were The Butler (historical fiction) and We are the Millers (the funniest movie I've see in a long time - lots of swearing but super funny). We also saw Epic which was okay, but not up there with DM2.
ReplyDeleteMost often we wait for them to come out on DVD and order through our Lovefilm membership. Though we are planning a trip this weekend to see the new Grand Prix movie, Rush
ReplyDeleteMonsters U was a favorite here! I'm not one to watch movies more than once usually..... hubby can watch them over and over
ReplyDeleteOh yes we do! I loved Despicable Me 2 and World War Z. Monsters U was fun also.
ReplyDeleteWe saw Despicable Me 2 and World War Z in the theater. LOVED DM2. Was disappointed with WWZ. But then, I watch Walking Dead, so I get my fill of zombies there. Also enjoyed We are the Millers. Laughed my butt off. But you wouldn't like it so don't bother renting it. Take my word for it, not your thing.
ReplyDeleteDidn't make it to the movies - but would like to see Monsters U and am tempted by the Despicable Me
ReplyDeleteNot managed the cinema for ages and we never buy films on DVD either .... No time to watch! These look interesting though and hopefully you will have any happy hours with them.
ReplyDeleteWe've not been on a movie blitz since winter, when we were trying to see a bunch of them before the Oscars.
