Yes, I know it's still over nine months until Christmas, but while I had all my Christmas papers and embellishments out finishing up my 2010 layouts, I figured I might as well create a few cards too. Before I knew it, I had 16 cards completed!
I chose a stamp from my collection (that I've never used!) for the inside of the cards, so these will be all ready to go when December arrives!
I must admit this is the earliest I've ever started making Christmas cards! How about you - when's the earliest you've ever started preparing for Christmas?
Oh these are nice - well done on using up the supplies while you had them out.
ReplyDeleteI've been known to start making Christmas cards for next year during Advent the previous year. So made some whilst in the US last December which will be sent out later this year. But I figure I've got the supplies out now anyhow...
I like the ones with the twine and the Father Christmas faces especially. Earliest? Probably the beginning of December!
ReplyDeleteIf I'm planning to send all handmade cards, I usually try to get the design nailed down by the end of October. I usually make one or two different designs and add in a few I make for challenges. My favorites are the ones with the trees.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed! You are going to love pulling these out at the end of the year. Early preparations here? mmm..I'll think about it :)
ReplyDeleteI am VERY impressed, Melissa....I've certainly never been as. Organised as that!!

That is so smart! Good for you for getting a head start with the cards :) I'm not organized at all! There's always hope LOL!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards! Great idea to get a head start! It is never too early. :)
