Pop-Up Leftovers

Earlier this year, I created a set of four cards using the Queen & Co Circle Pop Ups Embellishment Kit. I ended up with a few leftover pieces from the set and decided to use them on a layout about attending the Great American Scrapbook Convention.

I started with the large circle, but rather than creating a shaker, I added glitter to the circle and placed it over a photo collage of INSPIRATION and products at the show.

The layout design itself is very simple with a few strips of paper, two photos, and bits & pieces from my stash. I added my journaling right on the background cardstock.

I even used the small circle piece, cut in half and covered with glitter, in my embellishment clusters.

I really like how these FUN embellishments add dimension and (with the addition of the glitter) sparkle to this  layout . . . and I didn't waste any of the pieces from the Pop Ups kit!

Have you used the Queen & Co Pop Ups Embellishments? Which shape is your favorite?

  1. What an eye-catching feature the frosted circle makes, echoed by your little one tucked underneath - I've never been to an event like this but your page really gives a sense of he fun and sparkle.

  2. I've never seen the pop-ups, but I just LOVE that glittery circle that sets off the four photos from the show. Brilliant idea!
