Today marks my eighth blogiversary! The frequency and content of my posts have changed a little here and there, but it's been a FUN journey. Here's a look back at some of my favorite bits & pieces:
The first year I shared how I store my scraps. I still store them the same way!
The second year I shared how the enjoyment of a hobby is enhanced by interaction with others. This is still true today!
The third year I shared my first video. I've added a few other videos to my YouTube channel since then!
The fourth year I shared our love story. Our love grows stronger every year!
The fifth year I had lots of FUN. This was my very first "one little word" and my favorite!
The sixth year I moved into my new craft room. I enjoy this space almost every day!
The seventh year I shared my progress on my 50 Things To Do Before I'm 50 List. I'm still making progress on that list - 16 months to go!
The eighth year I illustrated the entire book of Esther. I'm working on illustrating more books of the Bible in the coming year!

Seeing the years laid out like that only highlight how long I've been reading along with you ... here's to many more years!

ReplyDeleteI thought I could figure out how long I'd been following your blog, but it seems I didn't comment on any of the posts you highlighted! And I KNOW I've commented on your posts... Definitely been since before your FUN year ... when was it that my Mom & I attended your crop at the store? Also interesting to see how many of our friends have fallen out of the blogging world in that time.
ReplyDeleteCheri - That first crop was in 2012, but I know we were following each other’s blogs a while before that. 😊 And you’ve definitely commented a ton over the years; so strange that it wasn’t on those posts I picked!

ReplyDeleteI've been following you since your second year for sure; maybe a bit before that. I'll bet this was a fun post to write! I'm thinking I might try the same; my blog anniversary is coming up in June.
ReplyDeleteWow! I think I’ve been following you for about 7 years - doesn’t seem possible! I think I might write a similar post too. My blogaversary is 7th June when it will be 11 years!

ReplyDeleteWe chose Banff for our wedding for a variety of reasons: we wanted to go away since our families were scattered across the country & couldn’t all attend anyway & we’d both been married before & Robbie’s grandparents had visited Banff and thought it was beautiful. 😊
