Cards | Sea Breeze

A couple of weeks before the coronavirus was declared a pandemic back in March, I'd signed up for a new card class at our local scrapbook store. However, I chose to begin staying at home early and just picked up the kit instead. The Heartfelt Creations Sea Breeze collection papers were FUN to work with ... and made me wish for a trip to the beach or lake!

These papers had great background scenes on them, so it was easy to then add the various embellishments and stamping. As usual, I didn't follow the kit directions exactly. The bonus card actually came with quite a few die cuts pieces to turn it into a Christmas card; however, I added the setting sun (using a punched circle and Gelatos) instead. I'm thinking now that I might change out the sentiment, too.

What have you created lately that made you want to take a trip?

  1. Nice cards. I haven't created anything in cards or scrap pages that makes me want to travel much further afield than about an hour away - there are 3 waterfalls rather close together & I miss a stroll around them.

  2. Lovely cards - Heartfelt has a way of making their stuff dreamlike, don't you think?

  3. I'm more than ready for a trip to the beach so these cards are an inspiration! It will be at least a year before the real trip is a possibility!
