Scrapbooking | House Rules During a Pandemic

It's hard to believe that we are into the seventh month of this global pandemic! Some of the things we do now seem almost "normal" after six plus months of staying at home.

I recently created a list of the new "rules" for life here at home, our house rules during a pandemic. I combined them with several random bits & pieces I had lying on my craft table to create a grid style layout.

On the top left is a promotional trading card Robbie received in the mail. On the top right is a 3x4 card my sister sent me in a pack of scrapbooking goodies. The "Miss Your Face" is the front of a card I received in the mail from a friend, and the photo shows one of my favorite places to relax on the patio.

What bits & pieces have you added to your scrapbook this year to represent the pandemic and the new "rules" we're following during this unprecedented year?

  1. Good house rules, especially #7. I like the trading card Robbie received along with the card from a friend & scrapping card your sister sent. I have a section or "chapter" in my day to day album about COVID-19, I'm sad to say it's becoming bigger than the "normal" month to month things.

  2. Love your layout. I've decided to do an entire album about quarantine. We've done so many new things and started new routines. I have plenty of stories to tell and decided to just designate an album all its own. 50 years from now (or even 20) people might find it interesting. I hope so.

  3. I've been much more conscientious about keeping a journal during the pandemic. I love #7 in your list, which has truly been a gift for us. I'm so grateful I don't live alone during this pandemic.

  4. Your list looks just like mine would, were I to make one: I'm still disinfecting and cleaning everything in sight, and trying to stay away from public areas where possible. Even the post/mail has to self-isolate for three days :). I haven't really documented the pandemic but am feeling I should.

  5. Pretty much the same list here! I'm documenting most things in the Covid-19 journal and the every day stuff in Project Life album. There was a fab Shopping in the Pandemic pocket page by Nathalie Leonelli on p44 of the current issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today. Do you know her and her blog? You can find her here: http://anounceofcreativity.blogspot.com/
