Scrapbooking | July 2020 Scrapped

In addition to our month in numbers layout, I created three layouts for July of this year.

The first one documents our Sunday drive (and the need to get out of the house for a bit during this crazy year). The format was inspired by one of the sketches in Week Four of Cathy Zielske's Design Your Life 2.0 class; however, I added the small grid of four photos to represent our photo scavenger hunt finds.

The next page showcases photos from the weekend visit from my nephew and his family. I began this  page with a digital template (again from Week Four of Cathy Zielske's Design Your Life 2.0 class), which I altered to include more photos.

Next is a FUN page with memorabilia (wrapping paper pieces &  oversized card) and photos from my birthday at home.

I have to admit that it feels great to get July scrapped. Looking back on previous years' albums, I've discovered that I tend to start out strong, scrapping our photos and stories for the first few months of the year, then taper off ... which is why I have several years of incomplete albums that I'm still working on.

  1. How lovely to see such happy family photos! I do like your CZ-style page, with the little trio of yellow accents. Reading to little ones is such a pleasure, isn't it!

  2. Your pages are great! That class from Cathy Zielske was simply brilliant, and I'm another who still refers back to it.

  4. Love that Family Visit layout. I'm not so good with knowing what size I need to make the pictures work. I'll try this one for sure.
