Scrapbooking | Pandemic Shopping

Have you noticed all the wonderful layouts with a circular background of stickers that have been posted the past few months? I saw it first in this Shimelle Facebook Live video, and Ruth shared some wonderful examples here and here.

I immediately had an idea to use this technique with the little bits and pieces I'd recently collected from items we've ordered online. Then I filled the circle in with stickers and embellishments from my stash.

Journaling reads: We've always done a good bit of our shopping online, but this year it expanded as we stayed home and healthy. We also finally embraced curbside pickup for groceries and household items. We even ordered new laptops and printers and had a desk and chairs delivered.

  3. Since I'm out of sync with scrapbooking, I hadn't see this circular pattern before. I love your interpretation of it, and agree that online and curbside delivery have helped us stay healthy and safe!

  5. OMGosh! I love that! I'm definitely going to scraplift it. I've done more internet shopping and food ordering this year than ever before! Thanks for sharing.

  6. What a fun layout. The jacket and paper tags speak to who you are, don't they. I too embraced online shopping for groceries and household goods, but to be honest I found the former not very effective. So I am back to making actual trips to the grocery store. I did far much less online shopping for clothes or miscellaneous items too compared to the prior year. Scrapbooking supplies were probably about the same as the prior year, but from different sources. I did not step foot into a store for Christmas shopping - and that is what I missed the most. My only downfall in the change was a couple of handbags/totes that were online on sales and purchased purely out of boredom.
